Classes are designed to maintain a strong, healthy frame, to support the wonderful process of the changing body during this amazing time. Throughout the class we will focus on breathing and gentle movements which will help alleviate some of the common discomforts associated with pregnancy, and prepare for the birthing process and beyond. We will also be supporting the mind with long relaxations and techniques you can use at home, to help with restfulness and sleep, bringing tranquility into the body when you need it most.

Benefits of pregnancy yoga:

  • Reduce back ache and pelvic girdle pain
  • Release tension
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Improve quality of sleep
  • Strengthen muscles to help with the birthing process
  • Increase flexibility
  • Increase blood circulation
  • Reduce swelling from fluid retention
  • Improve posture and body awareness
  • Improve digestive system
  • Connect with your breath to help with contractions in later stages

With herbal tea served at the end of each class there is also an opportunity to connect with other pregnant ladies in the community.

BOOKING IN ADVANCE IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A NEW STUDENT FORM SO I AM AWARE OF ANYTHING THAT MAY EFFECT YOUR PRACTICE.

Commonly asked questions:

What to wear - something you feel comfortable in and can move freely in

What to bring - a mat, some water, a mug for tea and yourself (let me know beforehand if you need to borrow a mat)

Do you need any experience - not at all, this is pregnancy yoga and birth preperation, which can seem quite different to a regular yoga class

Do I have to use my six class pass all in a row - no, you have 3 months to use the classes and they can be booked in the same way as usual, selecting 'pay offline' instead

What if I need to cancel - it happens. Things come up and sometimes we need to change our plans. Please try to give as much notice as possible
